Get to know Urologist Dr. Eric E. Coronato, who serves patients in Florida.

Recognized as a skilled urologist, Dr. Coronato’s areas of special interest are male and female voiding dysfunction, urologic oncology, kidney stone disease, prostate hypertrophy, and urinary incontinence. He is in practice with Gulf Coast Urology – A Division of 21st Century Oncology, seeing patients at the offices in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda, Florida. Professionally, the doctor is affiliated with multiple hospitals and surgery centers in the area, including Fawcett Hospital, Bayfront Health Park (Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda), and Gulf Pointe Surgery Center. He is currently Chief of the Medical Staff at Fawcett Hospital. In 2004, Dr. Coronato graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the  New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to perform his internship at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in 2005, followed by his residency in urology at the Albert Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia in 2007. A member of the American Osteopathic Association, he is board-certified in urological surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS).

Eric E. Coronato, DO, is a 2004-graduate of the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. His postgraduate training includes his internship served at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center (2004-2005), as well as his urology residency served at the Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia (2005-2007). Dr. Coronato completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs (1995) as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry 91999) at Lynchburg College in Virginia.
